Wii u 3 player games
Of course, not all events are created equal but there's definitely enough here to keep a couch full of Mario and Sonic fans happy. No matter what the haters say, I love Mario Party It may not be the best of the series but there's an impressive variety of modes that keeps my pals and I hooked whenever we boot it up.
My favourite way to play is the amiibo mode where you can use your statuesque Nintendo character of choice to compete on a simplistic array of game boards. To learn more about it, read my detailed Mario Party 10 review.
Also, Wii Party U is a pretty fun little compilation of mini-games that's worth checking out as well. Hey, how did an indie game get in here? Although it's not as accessible as most games on this list, you may be surprised how much fun this competitive 2D platformer can be. With constantly changing background colours that make platforms appear and disappear, you'll be on the edge of your seat throughout every grueling match.
If you'd like to know more about this colourful runner as well as explore a list of all the included indie game guest characters, run over to my Runbow review! Wait, I thought this was a list of multiplayer games Actually, both of these incredibly charming platformers can be played cooperatively with a pal.
Whether you prefer inviting some chums over to form a gang of Yoshis or have a friend join you as the clayful Waddle Dee, both of these games are perfect multiplayer adventures. For more on each of these cute games and to find out which one I personally enjoy more, here's my Yoshi's Woolly World review and my Kirby and the Rainbow Curse review. U is a fantastic game to play with friends. What puts it above similar titles is the fact that one player can make platforms appear via Boost Mode using the GamePad.
Also, you can stun enemies so your buddies can deal with them easier. The question is; will you use your power for good or evil? Oh, the possibilities Super Smash Bros. Being able to play as your favourite Nintendo characters and more as you beat on your friends in chaotic four-player battles is just awesome. This newest installment of the series surpasses its predecessors by offering tons of DLC and constant updates to keep things fresh and exciting.
Now, you can play with four simultaneous players as either Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, or even Rosalina once you unlock her.
One of the coolest aspects is that the characters retain their attributes from Super Mario Bros. It's colourful, nostalgic, and above all else; an absolute blast to enjoy with friends. Mario Kart has been delighting Nintendo fans since and for good reason. It's such an accessible game that anyone from a toddler to a grandma can enjoy. Putting a plastic steering wheel in someone's hands then telling them briefly how to race makes it such an intuitive setup.
Bowser Party is pretty fun though. Yes, Mario Kart 8 is fun as well. Runs only at 30 fps with players instead of 60, but is still very playable. Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush can also be done with 4 player co-op And I suppose there's also Mario Party Get any MP game from if you're looking for a great one.
